Hull spider cracks

I have just noticed some spider webs on the vertical outside of my hull. Anyone have any idea what causes these and how easy are they to repair. The boat is a 30' 95 Regal Commodore.

Sounds like cracks in the gel coat, but we'll need pictures before an recommendations can be made on repairs.

Repairs for just cracks in the gel-coat are not that bad, although matching it to the original color can be a pain. However, as Cadwelder said, we need pictures because it may be a structural issue that is causing the cracks which would be a more extensive repair.
