Well, can't say I feel lucky... I've had the caddy since 2000, drove it the first two years, then payed exorbitant amounts go have it rebuilt, taking about another two years, then got to drive it another two years, before it crapped out on me again. I then bought another motor for it, which ended up being just as bad as my original, and shortly thereafter the trans went out. So.. it's been sitting since then... in my garage, and now in my driveway, awaiting sale, or a massive insertion of cash.... which isn't likely as I'm currently under-employed to the point of almost unemployed. but life will turn around, I have faith. Dunno bout the caddy, but I can dream

My Newest hull is a 1974,....
I Hope to be moving Up next season,.....To a 1973....

The Houseboat is a 1969....

23 years old and still looking and running great. Motor and trailer are the same age as well.

1970 16 foot Fiberform with a 71 (i think) Johnson 60 hydro drive. Tempermental old broad, but she'll do... Wish I had an open bow though... kinda hard to climb over the windsheild for sunning...

1961 Speed Queen 16'

I've had a few newer boats but have always gone back to the older ones.
Most of my boats came to me as either freebies that ended up being decent boats. Most of the newer boats I've had have all been too far gone to really be worth my time to fix up or just not a style that I liked. The Starcrafts are my favorites but I strongly prefer aluminum boats.

Have a 83 procraft 1650v, 150 mercury. I just got it 3 days ago. Plan on doing alot to it when i get done going throught the motor.

I'm running a 1975 Cal-Glass 18.5' V-hull with a 175 OMC (Ford 302) I/O.
It's a bit newer than my old boat which my dad bought used around 1978-80.
It was a 1965(?) Grew 16' semi-V with an Evenrude 65hp push-button shift O/B. (My uncle is still putting around with it!?!)

Boat is approx 63 years old,powerplant is a 1958 johnson 18 hp with a 57 cowling as i like the color scheme better.Hoping to get a early 50,s 25 hp tiller ,johnny or evinrude for it.

1998 Bayliner Capri, just like show home condition when I bought it 2 years ago. The former owners are retired and kept it in the garage and they do not know how to start it and do not know how to back up. I am also trying to learn it so that I do not have to go out with someone who can back up everytime I go boating with the Admiral. Maybe I will just install a hitch in front of my truck.

Mine is a post jurassic Louis XIV Bayliner Capri (....well 1990 actually).
All there, still good, still solid....thanks mostly to the previous owners taking care of her. Proper storage, maintenance and responsible usage still seem to be the key to a good used boat I guess.

Mine's a '63 Duratech Neptune 16' (aluminum), with a '95 Merc 60. I'm NOT jealous of the guys with new Lunds and Lowes, etc...not only because I've got no payment, but I like the classic much better.
