The mini rollers work great, especially for getting into corners and angles. I think my bubble roller is 4" wide. Bigger would be handy if you were doing a lot of glassing of big deck areas, but the 4" one works fine, I think.
Just wet out some wood. Went petty smooth for first time. Hopefully a good mix with hardener. Should have kept the respirator on longer, dont know if its the Lite or the fumes.

The deck is CSMd. How many coats of 1708 should be applied, and should i screw the seat bases in or should i just fiberglass them. Got some killer factory seats for the boat from Kendor in Franklin WI. boat wholesale. cheap! Phone acting up cant up load pics.
What surface are you going to finish the deck with? Really no need to use 1708 on the top of the deck. Way Overkill IMHO. Couple of layers of CSM and a final of 6oz cloth is the maximum needed. I would Tab it to the sides with 1708 but that's the only place I'd use it. "Fabricating Decks, Stringers, and Transoms"
You could just save it and use it for the next boat I plan on using two layers of CSM on my deck and then gel coating it. I didn't see it mentioned or pics, but did you use foam under deck?
