This is actually the second coat of primer, because of how poor the paint was on the cap, I primered the whole thing in ZC primer then the clean metal primer, one more coat of clean metal primer and I am shooting paint.

I will make it up when there is something interesting to show. Watching primer and spar dry isnt overly interesting. Spent today cleaning the paint gun had a bunch of crap set up in the new gun. I tried acetone to clean it mineral spirits sand paper paint thinner paint stripper paste. Finally after exhausting all options I finally gave up went to my grandfathers remedy gasoline. If it bothers anyone well tough cookies

Anyways I guess I am in debt to the mob for some pics.

Didn't realize watching spar dry was so much fun but here we go.

I sprayed it with the HVLP gun I put three coats on each side, and sealed the edges on each pass. 3 total on both sides of the ply 6 on the edges.

I lessened the amount of hardener used in this batch just a hair and the paint went down a little flatter. Pretty pleased with the results.

Actually Joe, if your buddy still has his Viking when I am done with this SuperSport I am probably going to make him an offer. Some of the money from this Super Sport is going to be used to buy new seating for my 18', and I firmly beleive that your buddies Viking with a high gloss white paint job with my back to back white and grey lounge seats would look great. I've already sourced a donor glasser with a 50hp Merc to put on the back of it as well. When this is done I am going to have an extra empty trailer to tow with too.
