Help to identify this boat, please?

My 11 year old son really wanted to build a custom wooden boat together but settled on buying himself this old beauty to restore. She was listed as a 1967 StarCraft but has no identification tags, serial numbers, etc.
The HIN comes back as a CFZ (home made boat in CA) which was first registered in July of 1980 so obviously the original manufacture has been lost for a long while.
I've included some pictures here. Anyone have some ideas? She's about 15 1/2' and all fiberglass. Any help would be amazing so we can start looking for parts. Looks almost like a 67' Jupiter V but the splash well (not pictured) isn't the same.
Cheers!

welcome aboard.

1967 would have had a serial number, not a HIN

as long as your paperwork is intact, that is what is required.

in the past 56 years, the boat has been modified more than once and sold more than 4 or 5 times. it may very well be a jupiter. however since there is a HIN on it now, it is what ever that HIN says it is.

as regards to parts. other than the serial number tag, nothing else was specific to the boat. it was all generic catalog parts.

When I was a kid my dad bought a boat like that with 25 hp Evinrude that had the Teel color paint on it which I believe was from the 60s. It was used as a ski boat, painted purple (purple people eater) lol. That's was painted on the side of it.

Hm, yeah this is what I figured. It's registered and has paperwork for the boat and trailer so that's all good I was just hoping to narrow the search to find things like a windshield haha.

DIY plexi in the existing windshield frame...

Find a derelict hull w decent windshield

Find a windshield that can be made to fit.

Slim chance of finding a Starcraft model specific replacement, no matter what model boat is....

That's a generic windshield. We bought one from...wait for it...Sears in the 80's. It was a Taylor windshield. I helped install it on our MFG back in my younger (and much slimmer) years.
