Go up to the top of the forum and look at how many posts and threads are in each catergory, and slowly scroll down, taking particular note of Boating Safety. Bahahaha. If it's better safe than sorry, I guess we are a bunch of sorry fools!

Re: Hahahaha, check this out.

the views are there.

the difference is that the posts in safety are not question posts.....but are informational...

nothing in the posts will prompt you to ask a question. so the replys to a thread are not there.

by the way.......thank you lady fish for typing out those really important tips.

Oh yes, they are very important. Just seems like everyone spends more time playing around and fixing things rather than on safety. :) Seems to be the case in many areas of life.

That whole forum is a "Read Only" forum. You can not reply to any of them, even the ones that aren't locked.

Flamed???? I hardly think so, we just explained to you why there wasn't more replies to that forum than the others, and why it's not likely to get more replies.

Re: Hahahaha, check this out.

Most of us realized the importance and benefits of a Boaters Safety Course when we insured our first boat. You do have boaters insurance don't you? LOL... please see this as added humor and not sarcasim or a flame...

Re: Hahahaha, check this out.

Haha, trust me, my first sinking experience in 30 degree weather in winter on a striped bass hunt put fear into my eyes. My next voyage was on a different boat on a terribly windy day, and the motor left us stranded 5 miles downwind of the dock. Electric motors wouldnt move me an inch!! Now I am the guy that replaces electrical parts on his motor before they die out just to be safe, and I have a manual bilge pump, automatic bilge pump, jump start kit, set of extra plugs, radio, back up kicker, tow insurance and never go out far alone. I was mistaken, but saw how little it appeared that people paid attention to boaters safety. Shoot most of my friends go out when they have a hard time starting their motors from the dock! Not me. Ill trailer up and head home quick!

Flamed?? Hahahaha!! You ain't seen nothin' yet, pilgrim. :)

Errol Flynn's laugh, Clint Eastwood's threatening voice and John Wayne's punctuation (just before he slugs ya'). All in one post ... that's impressive. :D
