Re: Grrr... Law Suits - stuck on stupid plantiffs

It is so sad to see how twisted society has become. My childhood days in the country were all about work and play, doing fun things, being imaginative, and learning how to earn respect. I think I was 15 before I ever heard the word "lawyer"

The mistake for the farmer is to run to his insurance and expect a defense which will not be defense.

Face the silliness down in court alone, you don't need a lawyer to take a stand on common sense, in fact you're better off without one.
I would call every newspaper and radio station, put the spotlight on the judge. This stuff is on every nature program on tv.

You are using logic and common sense. There is no room for that in a courtroom. Just went thru it in a divorce.. Ya got to remember ,judges are lawyers and they are all in one big club. Its lawyers against non lawyers.. The prob is the farm owners could lose everything on some stupid simple technicality, something didn't get filed properly, something didn't get signed It happened to me. Whats right or wrong has nothing to do with the outcome. For all anyone knows the judge hearing the case and the lawyer suing the farm owners are golfing bubbies...the case will have been decided before it even goes to court....There is nothing fair about it. The system does nothing but allow greedy people to take advantage of somebodys misfortune or mistake or generousity,,,, Great idea on calling tv etc ...

So what did the mother think happens on a farm when she signed the permission slip? Someone had to give them permission to bus the kids away from the ghetto.

I also live next door to a dairy farm and live births happen (anywhere) and many times car's will stop so people can watch while the cows are in the fields.

OMG image if it was a breach and the mother needed assistance....... now the image of a farmer, veterinarian or neighbor (;)) being "involved" arm deep...... now that tends to be shocking to many.

Depending on the farm...... bull calves are normally not given the attention since they are headed to auction.

What do you say to the lawyer's???? kudo's for not chasing an ambulance :p

I thinks this sums it up!!

A question for all. I see absolutely nothing wrong with a 12 year old seeing a calf born, in fact I would go so far as to say its a very positive thing.

What say the rest of you?
I say that a birth is a miracle to watch. Kinda gross, but I am a wuss when it comes to that stuff, but a something that is part of nature, nothing like holding that little calf ( or colt, in our case) in your arms. A few years ago my then 4yr old daughter saw the birth of a colt , and watched in amazement.

Little M has been out on the horse farm since , well, she was conceived, and now thinks nothing of the boys " airing" themselves out, even though she is now 7. Once, we were at the state fair and the Budweiser Clydesdale team all decided to " air themselves out" at the same time, just prior to feeding time. You should have seen the ruckus as the sheltered folks gasped and tried shield their young eyes and then to shoo their sheltered little children away from seeing all the dropped units....:D

Little M turned to me and said" What is all the fuss about, that is just what they have to do!"

I feel for your neighbor Bubba, the mother of the emotionally damaged child is probably damaged goods to begin with, and his good hearted deeds are being dashed to the ground by her sheltered ways and selfishness.

Come quickly Jesus! This is the sort of thing that makes people unwilling to help others or offer friendliness anymore. It is getting so that you could be sued for saying good morning to someone. Every time some idiotic lawsuit is cast another good "thing" is lost. If the 12 yr old girl is mentally distressed over the birth of a calf, God help the child should she ever witness a wreck or human tragedy.

When my last kid was born (at home, in a snowstorm) the 2 year old watched from atop the dresser, where he got put because he was in the way. The other 7 were all actively involved in some way.

A guy at work is in the middle of a bad divorce case and it's exactly as you say. My jaw just drops when he tells me of the legal shenanigans, all designed by a crooked system to separate people from their money. He's a good $50K in, slowly going broke and can't do a damn thing about it.

Re: Grrr... Law Suits - stuck on stupid plantiffs

Its insane I was married 3 yrs Half the marrital assets were $13000.00 Thats what she was entitled to under Mn law. By the time my incompetant, looser, lying POS lawyer got done fkn up every aspect of my divore, I had to give her $55,500.00. Then that POS billed my $20,000.00 + I took him to court for malpractice and had 16 pages of facts and documentation of all the legal mistakes he made. The Judge threatened to hold me in contempt because I didnt file 1 piece of paper properly. The judge wouldnt hear a thing I had to say I lost I had 2 take a 2nd mortgage out on my house to pay off all those debts. By the time i am done paying everything with all the interest etc, My cost will be over $100,000.00. My pyscho X wife had $25,000.00 in legal fees. Subtract that from her $55500,00 . She ends up with 30,000.00 I had offered her over $50,000.00 out of court and she wouldnt take it cuz her lawyer promised her the moon. Bottom line... It will cost me well over $100,000.00 for her to get $30,000.00 The rest goes to the banks an thieving Fkng lawyers A year later I lost my job [a year ago] i am ruined, I hate em all

This is sad to hear about......
I don't believe the woman will be able to win in court on this though...because as mentioned before, the birthing process of animals can be viewed on uncensored tv stations.

"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers". - (Act IV, Scene II Henry VI ). William Shakespeare :D

I found this:

SHAKESPEARE AND LAWYERS: THE REST OF THE STORY
?Let?s kill all the lawyers.?
Lay people and comics like to use this gag line in many different venues. Yet,
more often than not, those quotes are made without a basic understanding of the context or meaning of the quote. It?s kinda like selectively quoting biblical scripture. For instance, by selectively piecing quotes together, we can find biblical authority for committing suicide, e.g. ?and Judas went out and hanged himself;.?.. ?and Jesus said, go ye and do likewise.? So, for just a few minutes, let me play Paul Harvey and discuss the rest of the story.
As we review Shakespeare?s Henry VI, part 2, we find at this juncture in the story Jack Cade?s rebellion was picking up steam. ****, the butcher, was a member of this rebellion. As **** utters the famous words ?first thing we do, let?s kill all the lawyers,? he was referring to ways that the rebellion might be successful. They recognized that to succeed, they must get rid of those who knew and enforced a system of laws. They did not want any learned and informed opposition to the rebellion they had planned against the government. This makes sense. If you are tempted to create anarchy through rebellion, the first objectives will be to get rid of legal process, individual rights, and the truth. The members of the rebellion realized it would be the lawyers that would stand up and identify how individual rights were being abused and due process was not being afforded. It was the lawyers who would recognize that rebellion sought to take away freedoms rather than grant them. This concept that the lawyers would recognize was later put in context by Daniel Webster who stated, ?liberty exists in proportion to wholesome restraint.?
