Gluvit or not

I filled my hull to just above what should be the water line, and let it sit for about 4 hours. To my surprise I didn't have a single leak.
My question is. Is Gluvit a future leak preventative, or just an existing leak stopper?
Is there any need to Gluvit a hull that doesn't leak?

Works as a preventative to an extent too...... since you are down to the hull it certainly would not hurt to seal things up

Id go for it while you have it gutted, its not bad to put on and well worth a little extra peace of mind.
