Tomorrow will be the first day with temperatures that are over 40. which means that the snow will start melting at a good clip. Time to start cleaning out the garage so there is room for the engine , which I will remove in order to remove the transom and replace it with a high quality plywood transom that is properly sealed.

Getting closer to packing up all the winter toys into the truck to go to storage and get the summer toys. Funny I was going to put the project boat in the storage garage to get garage space, then I went and bought a fish house. Funny I refuse to make monthly payments on toys, but I make monthly payments to store the toys.

Here in NW Ohio it is 65 degrees and yesterday reached 68. Heavy rain but no snow and cold ! The bad news is.....in a week or two, they are forecasting more below freezing temps and more snow ! Talk about dissapointment.......

Emelton is a neat looking town, but that isn’t Central PA … that is Northwestern PA. Now for the boat deets … what ya looking at and was it worth the drive?

Guess I get it mixed up since the state is huge. It was definitely worth it. 1989 Sylvan Offshore 22. The thread on the Bayliner 175 that I posted, I ultimately found that one as an Islander/Offshore was really my dream boat. Hence why I drove almost 6 hours to go look at it. I pick it up in 2 weeks. Is there a transport law in PA? I know I should make sure the titles are notorized. I know NY doesn’t some times care but it’s PA standard practice

I was getting nervous as in the past I’ve borrowed the plate from a similar boat trailer that I own as most of my trailers have home made trailer status. But as it turns out the guys local notary offers transit tags. I looked it up to be sure.
