Wow, congrats man. Lots of hard work.

For 100$, i would have kept the merc tower, the trailer and trashed the hull.

I am offering a one owner 19.6ft Thompson Sea Rage 196 w/cuddy cabin ,4cyl. mercruiser like new condision w/trailer that has between 25 or 30 hrs. on it. This I know because I was with my father when he bought it new in 1987 from Collins marine . He only took it out on lake erie 5 to 6 times.Ialways wanted to borrow it but he never would let me and now I own it, go figure . This is really a sweet boat !I am asking 6100.00 for it. He payed almost 14000.00 without tax . If you are looking for this type of boat and dont want to spend 20,000.00 this could be your boat!!! I might consider trades depending on what it is.It also has a cover for it and some other equipment.You can call me or email.You wont be disapointed!!!

This was a add that caughy my eye and thought it was odd when he said his dad wouldn't let him borrow it and now he owns it . I went and looked and bought it . I just copied and pasted .Sorry It is boat of my dreams and is not for sale and my kids will have probably do the same to pay my end of life bills like he did . Promised
to take him out on for hot fishing spots on his lake /

This isn't your typical craigslist junk, but this one caught my eye... how much do you a think a 28 year old year old glastron boat is worth? Apparantly this guy thinks the hull is gold plated! (hint, nada thinks $1500-$2000 is a fair price, which I agree with on this one)

I have my 1989 Maxum ski boat for sale

It is 17ft. 3.0L Mercruiser inboard/outboard

I put some new upholstery on some parts of it because it was cracked really bad. I put lounge seats in it, there not made for this boat but they work good.

I bought it to fix it up but money has put me in a bind and I need to sell asap

I have taken it out 5 or 6 times since I bought it and Ill list the things I know that will need to be fixed.

The temp gauge and the speedometer do not work

It needs a new ignition switch so I put a screwdriver to the starter to get it to start.

I think the seal around the outboard needs replacing, it leaks alittle water in when I back in in the water.

It has power tilt/trim and it works. starts and runs good from when I have taken it out.

Its a great boat that just needs alittle tlc. I have done quite a bit to it since I bought it but I just dont have the time for it right now

It have 4 life jackets, a full axis intertube, pair of ski's, and a wakeboard along with a good tow rope that will go with the boat.

I also have rabbit ears so anyone who wants it can hear it run before purchasing it.

I have been on the other side of this one before....twice! I sold me 1999 Stratos 285 Pro-elite in minty fresh condition in CL, Brand new motorguide trolling motor and humminbird side finders front bow and console and brand new seats all the way around. I had just spun the prop a few weeks earlier and had some lower unit work done with a reciept. Listed it on CL with photos of the few scuffs on it that I couldn't buff out. Boat NADA value was 16500 with a 200hp e-tec and trailer. Listed it for sale for 11000 (buyers market) because I had just put a deposit down on a bigger boat and didnt want to have to trailer the boat to Fl to trade it in seeing as I live in MA.
I had some guy pull in my yard after asking 168 questions through email...all were answered accurately.....tell me the boat was junk because I should have had the whole lower unit replaced and that the pictures I posted on my ad were absolutely no where near as clear as the HUGE rubs from owner neglect.
offered me $500 for the trailer and $6000 for the boat and would "take the engine off my hands but couldnt possible give me money for it"
I told him where to stick his offer.....wound up trading the boat in at the dealer for $12500.

So anyway the Boat I bought was a 1999 Proline 220 sportsman with an evinrude Ficht that had great compression with the motor upgrades. Found it on CL and went down for a test drive. Ran great, handled well. great price ($8500 with a tandem axle trailer). Trailered it back to MA no problems, took it to my mechanic to be looked at to get me ready to fish. He found a few loose wires on it and plugged em back in. fished the LIS about four times....then....alarm sirens. Fuel restrictions, overheat, bucking, studdering, you name it. Got my sea tow to get me back on trailer where I launched and took it home to my mechanic. Turns out the dealer had unplugged those wires to keep the sirens from engaging. Would have cost me almost 3500 to fix all of the ailments that were affecting it.

So packed up the boat with all the paperwork from the mechanic along with pictures of the motor, Drove back to FL with my wife to pay a visit back to the dealer. At first they kind of looked at me like I was an ***-hole or a fool for coming back, but when my wife (the district attorney for the county I live in) got involved, They were more than eager to make good on the deal. Took the boat back against a 2004 Kenner Fishmaster Travis edition with only 175 hours on the engine.

It is so nice to live in a world where people are honest.....

$700. for this 19' runabout, 70 hp johnson & galvanized trailer! Engine runs great! Couple of "no big deal" soft areas on floor and a crack through the side windshield. This is a $700. boat, it's

not new but its ready to go! I have the paperwork for boat and trailer.

No Big Deal soft areas LOL thats a good one for sure!!

Not to mention the fact that it looks like it is missing the lower unit.
