Am I missing something here, or is this a jury rig to end all jury rigs?

Looks like a pallet was used for a bracket. This one has two too many zeroes in the price.

I like the shredded cover/bimini top, gives it that little extra something to make me want to get out my wallet. Totally gives it a 70's shag carpet vibe, and NOT in a GOOD way! Or maybe it makes it look more like a hovercraft:D I can't decide... But yeah, No Sale...

Jet boat customized with a outboard 85 horse power engine. Runs, needs interior. Have title to boat and trailer.

The boat cover MIGHT need some work...not sure!

OB bracket is hard to see, but it look like a redneck conversion.

When he say ''Run'', i'm pretty sure this applies to the potential buyer...

The outboard bracket looks like a $500 piece from Hydrodynamics (if you add in the custom color).

It's totally out of place on the pile of carp above.

Hydrodynamics setback on a real boat:

1980 Formula One Thunderbird! - $1250 (Woodbury, NJ )

Up for sale is a 1980 Formula One Thunderbird. This boat has been a great boat for us up until this season. I have to let this one go due to the transom is getting too soft for us. It is a 17ft bow rider with a closed bow. The boat seats about 4 people. Last season, I bought a used motor for it which is a great 120 hp Johnson outboard 2 cycle. The motor is a 1985 and has been serviced last year by J&B Marine. I started to get the boat ready for the season and decided, at the last minute, that I wanted a larger boat. The motor litterally was a "Turn Key" motor. The boat comes with a 1991 LoadRite Trailer with LED lights on the tail and new wiring throughout. All done last year as well. With this deal, I am basically giving the boat away since the trailer and engine are basically the best selling point with this deal, Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions you may have. Thanks for shopping!

Maybe a fair deal for the trailer and motor, but how soft is "too soft"? Is it a bow rider or a closed bow?

Next thing we'll see is a dual center console...

I wonder if that is an inboard outboard.

My favorite is "too soft for us". Almost like it could be just right for someone else. Like a mattress?

When you have the habit of hitting stumps at WOT, I thought it was a cool feature to have a soft transom; it flex and bounce back without damage...

Here's a good one, what are people thinking. In Pa, a trailer with out a title is worth only scrap value.

I don't know. If you talk him down to $500 it might not be a bad deal. You can register the trailer as homemade and you're good to go. He has the boat title. "Bogging down?" Definitely sounds like a fuel problem. If you pump the gas out, rebuild the carbs, and put a nice fuel filter/water sep on it the engine should be good. HTF do you break a steering wheel? First time I've seen that.

From what I understand, PA has made this nearly impossible. Boats, on the other hand, are no big deal at all. All you need it the registration numbers, they look up the PO and send them a letter, meanwhile you get temp tags till it all goes through. Couldn't be easier.

Find a relative in NY then because it's pretty easy to do here. :)

I bought a boat in PA and we had to have a notary present while we signed the title. The only notary in this town of 1000 was closing and we just made it in time. I thought NY had some PITA laws designed for the sole purpose of inconvenience.

The ad features a picture of a propeller.

Maybe if the seller polished the prop he'd get a few more hp out of it!
