most humble ad so far this year:
boat trailer, motor and boat - $600 (Virginia Beach (Lago Mar))
My son and his friends bought this (open bow, 17 ft) boat hoping to fix it up and take it out fishing. It sounded like a good idea at the time. Getting 3 boys together to work on a project is not an easy thing. They did take it out a couple of times, but I think it is time to let someone else have fun with it. Not sure that the boat is really worth a whole lot, but it comes with the trailer and Johnson 25hp motor. The motor is an older one, but I have been told by a boat person that these Johnson's motors are work horses and can be worked on easily. So if you want a fixer upper boat, a boat trailer, and a motor, this is the deal for you! Think about it, do the fish really care what your boat looks like?
(the pictures are of a basic 17' bow rider. the motor, if it runs, is worth it--looks like a mid-1970's)
