Going to be so much better then original build

Yes, I hope so. The ocean conditions really beat the snot out the boat. The previous stringer bonding and the fuel tank re-installation made a noticeable difference, but the forward part of the boat still felt a bit 'sloppy'. Hopefully, this will further improve things.

I have used the boat a few times in choppy seas this season. The additional stringer grid bonding has improved the feel of the ride in the helm area. When the boat comes down hard off a wave, I get the initial 'bang', but no 'aftershock' like I used to.

We shall see how the rest of the season goes.

UPDATE:

Now that I have made things even more solid down below deck, the impact from waves, etc. seems to more readily transfer up to the the helm and windshield area. There are several large pieces of fiberglass that form the helm and steps that lead up through the windshield. Those pieces do not seem to be well isolated or adhered to one another, and as such make a noise when the hull impacts a wave. I think I am going to see if I can reduce or eliminate that excess noise with some rubber padding where the separate helm pieces meet the foredeck. I suspect that is where the noise is coming from.

Way to keep at it!

Thanks :) I am hoping this will be that last thing that I need to 'chase' through the structure. Hoping to get a very solid 'feel' to the boat with minimal 'noise' going through the chop.
