U.S. Army 1970 to 1972

Wasn't the compulsory offshore holiday for the 18-25's was it?
I probably have it wrong but the dates and duration seem about right.

Got a bit of time in myself, and met a few of your blokes that were in the above category.

Cheers

Graduated West Point Military Academy 1979

5Th Special Forces

Grenada
Panama
Afghanistan
Iraq
Somalia

And a couple of other theators, that are never acknowledged or claimed..

Wounded 1991, Iraq, Operation Desert Storm

Recipient 3 Purple Hearts, 1 Bronze Star, 1 Silver Star.

Retired 2006 and now hiding in Montana.:D

My Urban Combat training specialty and course is currently used by many of our service men and women currently serving in the middle east and I like to believe it is helping them, my heart breaks every single time I hear of a loss!

US Army 1979-2006 retired at the rank of O-6, I would have got my first star if I had not been wounded(they tried to retire me in 1992 and I would not let them!)
