Hi everyone, I am new to the forum, and it seems great place. I just got an early 70's crest liner stinger that is in dissarray with an evinrude lark 35, manual shift, electric start(no female plug for it), and the fuel tank has a completely different connection. I am thinking about hard wiring the ignition, and the fuel lines for starters. The transom, and floor seem to be solid, there is no carpet, and there are no seats. I was advised to clean the fiber glass before using marine grade carpet, and as far as seats are concerned,i am thinking 1 seat for the operator, a boat cooler for fishing, and maybe a couple marine folding chairs as well? I have a buddy that said I could have his old cannon mag 10 down riggers, and i would like to set a planer board system up for running dipseys, or coppers(a 300, and a 400 copper), with two down riggers should make a great fishing boat for spring browns, and steel head, and lakers/kings in the summer i'd imagine? What would you more experienced people suggest? I know it is a smaller boat, and i wont be going out in anything major, and i paid $160 for the boat, trailer, the 35 horse, and a dissassembled 35 johnson so i can't go wrong can i?
