With all the talk about the two movies, I figured I couldnt say anything about either untill I saw them both. Well, I rented them both this weekend, (It was all I could do to watch all of the first one). and my opinion is that Michael Moore should be in prison, and Bush should sue hime for Liable.

OMG, what a blatant attempt to sway the election, Liar, and just plain "IDIOT he is. I knew he was a phony, But I am completly amazed at what he got away with in that peice of trash the libs said was such a Documentary!!

Sorry to bring this up again, But I got on the boat a little late.

Mike Moore is a traitor. I never saw the movie. I wont see the movie. I know he is a traitor from the other "films" he has made that I have had the misfortune to watch, the trailer, and the "work's" many reviews.
The man himself should be sued and deported.

He literally hates God and America, loves Russia, and socialism.
It goes way beyond descent, to documented treason.

God Bless America! Where you can be crucified by people that don't bother to see what they're crucifying you about. Ain't Free Speech grand? By the way, where do you deport somebody to that was born here? You wanna talk Treason? How about that hostages for arms thing Bush Sr. managed to dance around? Oh yeah, that's right. PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY. I forgot. :D

I rented the original and fell asleep both times I watched it. So I didn't bother with the BS excuse filled tripe rebuttal piece. There. I can rip on something I never saw too. Makes me look like an expert on the subject, don't it? ;)

Re: Faurenheit & Faurenhype 9/11

I saw 9/11 and was amused by it. I never went into viewing that movie as if it was some definitive work of truth and reasoning. As a whole, I don't trust anything that is processed media claiming to be truth. It is too easy to edit things to send the message you are trying to send. While I do have disdain for Bush, it is not from that movie, rather it is from acts that I have seen, and there is no need to get into that debate again. I feel that Moore's movie only showed bits and pieces of various events, so it cannot be viewed as anything valid or truthful. He is just another guy making a buck by whatever means he can. The term "American dream" comes to mind...I think "treason" and "deport" and "public flogging" is a bit strong for this. It was just a movie, everyone just needs to remember that before they get all emotional over it.

The problem Jason J is that is wasnt represented as if it were "just a movie". It was represented as FACT. The next problem is that some people would not know this is "just a movie".

Had Moore said, this is "my opinon" that would have been fine.

Same as if you read the front page of a newspaper vs the editorial page.

Didnt see the movie, but from what I have heard, he did careful editing to make Bush look bad.

Ken

Ken and others, regardless of how you feel about Moore and the movie, he himself didn't represent it as an objective documentary. I heard him directly state on The Tonight Show (in front of millions of viewers, obviously) that the movie wasn't fair to Bush. Hate the guy for the movie or his views, but also give him credit for being honest about his motives. Can anyone say the same thing about, say, Rush?

By the way, I haven't seen the movie yet and therefore can't comment on it at all.

This film is going to brought up during the Acadamy Awards, because it is being nominated for "Best Documentary".

Best Documentary?

If Michael Moore says its NOT a documentary on the Tonite Show in front of millions of viewers, then why is it, Micheal Moore entered it in the documentary class, for the Acadamy Award?

Can you say, two faced liar?

JTexas - I can certainly see the similarities :D , but Peter Jackson is a Kiwi .....and if a Kiwi had made that film....well...heaven help us, I think I'd start running for a life boat right now! ;) :D

Re: Faurenheit & Faurenhype 9/11

Perhaps I should have worded that differently. He didn't say it wasn't a documentary; he did admit that it represented his perspective, that he had an agenda, and that even he wouldn't classify it as fair to Bush.

So is a documentary with a slanted perspective an oxymoron? (someone else can score on the inevitable response to this question, I'll take the assist)

I'm not so sure. While one would like to believe that all documentaries are objective, I bet most have a slant to one degree or another.

uncalled for, Mark.But:
Absolutely. Give me USA,under God's great care, thank you very much. If you don't like God or America, go to France and worship satan for all I care!
You watch your leader, and I'll watch mine. Given a choice between the "Gospel according to Mikey" and God's word, My "expertise" with this entire matter is in my own faith. I hope to God, you find your own someday.
Persicution has not really turned many Christians away from God.It simply doesn't work well. By the way,Give me a cowboy president any day!
