false floor

i have a bayliner 21ft capri the false floor is soft down the centre of the boat should i replace all of the floor or just the soft strip

Replace ALL of it. Believe me-I was in the same boat as you (no pun intended) and when I started ripping the soft up i found that there is a lot more rot than you think.
Just spend some time reading through some threads on here. There truly is a wealth of knowledge on here.

Ditto. Serious ditto. You will see why when you pull up the deck. Soft spots are normally only the beginning.
