A week ago I picked up on a 1967 Gulf Stream 17 foot out board with trailer for free with all the titles. And the wife, excuse me ex wife wasnt there to tell me no.She needs a little work,no seats no motor she has sat out doors uncovered for 15 years.Tags say 2002.The deck felt a little soft so I ripped the moss covered carpet out and thats when the fun started.I poked the deck under where the drivers seat would have been and yep its rotted so I cut a hole and she has a bilge full of water. The stringers look good once I drained about 100 gallons of water out of her.no trailer jack and she sat bow down for all those years.I have ripped the deck out. In the mean time I have gone on line looking for any information on her.I want to restore her but to do so I need to know just what she is.All I can find is information on the inboards.

Welcome to iBoats!
Old Boats are not like Old Cars. Usually not to much info on em.. Fiberglassics.com might have some info. Bottom line is...she'll need a total gut job and restoration. Based on your details I'm 99.9% certain that the stringers and Transom are wet and rotting. These two links should be helpful for what you're about to udertake...
