Cruise Ships Diverted........

The wife got on a cruise ship in New Orleans Sunday and was suppose to go to Cozumel and Progresso Mexico........she woundup in Key West. Needless to say she's not a happy camper about it. I told her to be glad she's atleast getting to get off the damn boat for a while. Some of the other ships are staying at see and calling it "A Fun Time At Sea".

She'll make the best of it and have a good time. She's just disappointed about not going where they had planned.

I think I would be glad I was not going to Mexico right now.
Never got into the "Fun day at sea" thing myself due to the price of the drinks !!

I agree. Get your money back. Hurricanes, tornadoes, earth quakes, apocalypses, plagues, or even the revelation be damned. Those cruise companies have an obligation to the customer. Batten down the hatches and full steam ahead. Duh

Well, I got the wife home Saturday and Carnival Cruise Lines can pretty much count on having 17 to 1800 bad reviews. That will be from every one that went on that trip. Its prossible that the passengers may get together and go after the Canival for some sort of compensation. There were several attorneys on board that felt Carnival owed the passengers something. Travel vouchers for another trip, money back or something. Carnival told the passengers on that trip that there wasn't anything the cruise line could or would do and that they weren't worried about the people on that trip....that they were worried about the passengers that were boarding for the trip this week.

Buyer beware getting on a Carnival Cruise ! They will treat you wrong.
