Converting from bowrider to ?????

Hello everyone, this is my first time on here, so please be gentle! I bought a 1987 Glasstream Cutlass 172, with a 60HP Mercury OB, 4 HP Suzuki OB, Magic Tilt Trailer, cover and a bunch of other extras. I got a pretty good deal except for the fact that the floor is rotted pretty bad. I tore up the floor and I am considering making it into a fishing boat. I want to remove the dual consoles and either have a center or side console. How much concern should I have with throwing off the balance of the boat, or should I be concerned at all? Thanks.

No concern really, plenty of single side consoles out there.

Better yet put a TILLER handle on the Merc and have a really open fishing platform!!!!!,............

Shouldn't make any difference at all. Minimal weight difference.
