converting a jet back to prop

I have a 115 Yamaha. It now has a jet which makes it an 80hp. I'd like to be able to switch from jet to prop and back again when needed. I mostly fish rivers where the jet is needed. I'd like to use the boat on lakes but the weeds jam the jet. I know there are conversion kits available. Are these conversion easily done? I hear it takes a few hours to complete. The only issue I see would be the linkage for shifting. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks.

If it originally came as jet you will need to install shift rod and linkage. Easier to swap a prop to jet than vise versa
