I no longer get notifications when someone posts to this board, sadly. I came upon this thread by chance.

I've been outside to look at the boat this week and the paint seems to have cured okay.

The paint has finally dried :D Good to hear that.

Yes, there are notification issues going on with the forum. You have to do things the old fashioned way and peek!! (It is being looked into :))

Good to see you here!

This is a great thread in general and for me to follow because I will be painting with Easypoxy later this season. I have all my materials sitting waiting for spring. I wish the notifications were working so it would be easier to keep track of it!

My plan is to follow Pettit's instructions to the letter, so I will document as I go and post the results in my reno thread.

Thanks for all the input.

I just opened a gmail account to have notifications sent there. Perhaps that will be a fix until the forum is cured. :)

Is it best to place hardener in the paint for a boat?

IF the paint has a HARDENER tht can be mixed with it then, by all Means, Use one. But... Not all paint HAS a Hardener. Pettit EasyPoxy does NOT.
