I no longer get notifications when someone posts to this board, sadly. I came upon this thread by chance.

I've been outside to look at the boat this week and the paint seems to have cured okay.

The paint has finally dried Good to hear that.

Yes, there are notification issues going on with the forum. You have to do things the old fashioned way and peek!! (It is being looked into )

This is a great thread in general and for me to follow because I will be painting with Easypoxy later this season. I have all my materials sitting waiting for spring. I wish the notifications were working so it would be easier to keep track of it!

My plan is to follow Pettit's instructions to the letter, so I will document as I go and post the results in my reno thread.

I just opened a gmail account to have notifications sent there. Perhaps that will be a fix until the forum is cured.

Is it best to place hardener in the paint for a boat?

IF the paint has a HARDENER tht can be mixed with it then, by all Means, Use one. But... Not all paint HAS a Hardener. Pettit EasyPoxy does NOT.
