Gluing together red oak and poplar to make the dashboard.

This is what the dash wood will look like, before stain.

First layer of teak oil.

Sanded Edges of the floor, to prevent splintering.

What the old stuff looks like.... The larger piece was home made... Poorly. It is uneven, all the cutouts are different sizes, and its falling apart.
So I had to measure everything out and make a new template.

Dont know the official name for this. But it goes on the other side of the transom to sandwich the aluminum between the transom and this.

What do you guys think?
