Hi Howard Sterndrive,

Really nice boat you have. It may be surprising but I live in Finland and a company
called Vator in Finland manufactured the SS175 model in late 60?s and early 70?s
under a licence from SlickCraft.

I have one of these Vator boats with an original Volvo Penta AQ130 engine and I have just started
restoring both the boat and the engine. My boat did not originally have those small seats beside
the engine but I would like to add them to fit whole family in the boat,. Would it be possible to
get a few detailed photos of the seats including the upholstery and the seat frame structure ?
You help would be greatly appreciated. I will try to add a photo of my boat if I can handle that...
I will try to figure out if I can send my email somehow as a private message.

Best regards,

This is my SeaRay 1977 SRV 220 Hardtop

It's all original other than the stereo, vhf and the new camper canvas. I'm the second owner.

At 22, mine's just finished her break in period and, honestly, I don't consider anything as "classic" before 40 years...

89 Bayliner Trophy! I think I must have the only one left, because you never see any on here.

She Actually looks even better now with the reworked bow rails and new decals, but I don't have any current pictures. I plan on getting a few shots to post after She's unpacked from winter storage.

Great boat.
I noticed your guage lenses are fading. I wet sand our with 1000grit and buffed which worked well, but now there are kits that do a better job.

I don't know if I'm smart enough to figure out how to up load a photos, but here goes. She is a 1988 Alumacraft (the boat that is) 16 foot fish catching (I wish) machine. She has a 1992 40hp Mercury and 12 volt trolling motor. She perfect for the lakes and rivers around here that I fish. I will be replacing the carpet and repainting the top red this year, if I can find the time now that I'm retired. Oh yeah, that's the BOSS at the wheel scooting down the lake.

Hey, thanks for the tip, I look forward to warm weather and the chance to tinker with the little things on her until I get everything perfect. We really like our Bayliner, and it's good to see another Bay fan on here.

This is our 1978 AMF Crestliner. It is the Apollo 660 model. We are the third owner. It is all original and very well cared for. It has a 78 115 Mercury. Can't wait for spring!image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

I absolutely love the look of 20 - 40 year old boats. The new styles don't even interest me.

Here's my "new" toy being towed by my other "new" toy. I'll have to get some better pictures the week after next:
