This is my 1968 Camero Hull copied Inboard.

Went on a 1500km round trip in less than 24 hours to pick this boat up.
Inboard 202ci, twin Strombergs, Performer Cam, Marinisation Kit:

What's that large plate on the transom above the Stringer opening? Did you have to fix the transom? Nice looking boat though.
being a 69, it had the high profile electric sterndrive. (and a 110hp 2.5L)

I repowered it with a 1984 800 series / V6 setup, which was low profile, so after cutting the lower part of the opening down 4", I cut the top half of the opening out, slid it down 4" and refiberglassed it, so I would only have to work with rectangles instead of curves. After replacing a large chunk of the plywood from the inside, I did a poor job (imo) of trying to match the gel-coat, so I hid it with a $20 sheet of aluminum checkplate. I also covered the old push-pull steering hole with it.

Don't know that I'd ever seen pics of your boat WOG. Very nice.

my 69 Grew by Slickcraft
... been wonderin' for a while what you drove Howard. I didn't really know much about Grews until I joined iBoats. The ones that I've seen have all been really nice looking boats.

Hello All,

I am new to the site as well as boating. I just picked up a 1986 Thompson 18'. Here are some pics since it falls into this category of boats over 20 years old. I plan on replacing the floor and upholstery this winter and paint next year.5Hc5M75J73I63J53lbc6d9c114e6391b914ae.jpg5He5M65J33E73Fc3N1c6d5c771834ebff1d9c.jpg5L25G85H83I93o13Hfc6d2c9b949b4f081f6c.jpgIMG_0478.jpg

That is the same boat I had for my first I/O. Didn't keep it long as it had some issues I wasn't prepared to deal with. Neat.

1984 Webbcraft Riviera 21'. Just rebuilt the 5.7 Mercruiser, an it came with a fresh SEI Alpha 1 lower. Gotta do some maintenance this winter and a little vinyl work, but we love her.

Looks like a nice boat. Always liked the Webbcrafts, and we see a lot of them here in NE Oklahoma as they were built just northeast of Tulsa,OK. Always used a lot of teak in their designs.

Thanks! Yeah She's loaded with teak, and most of it was freshly refinished when we bought it. Seems like nobody has heard of Webbcraft, gotten tired of saying "yes, I'm sure it's not Wellcraft... "

I'll take a Webbcraft over a Wellcraft of the same vintage any day of the week!
