That's 100% how it is.There is no such thing as customer service at Chaparral.
They will tell you to contact the dealer you purchased the boat from.

must be underneath the tank. I'd just drill a hole and put a new one in and run new wiring at this point that made me dizzy.
I'm kidding I doubt its on the bottom. But maybe the side? I didnt see it in your video which kind of through me normally they are on the top I have never seen one anywhere else... Did you purchase the boat new? Maybe the tank was replaced and never had one installed? I'm not sure just spit balling now.How much sense would that make to put it in her bottom we're it's not accessible? What if it starts leaking or something? Im tempted buy a wire tracer and clip it to the fuel gauge wire and see if I can locate it that way all the wires go all the way to the rear towards the dog house and disappear underneath the floor, is there an additive that is available that could possibly free it up? I have a Moeller universal sending unit from 4 to 28 inches or something like that already
No I didn't purchase it new the gauge works just won't go past 3/4 full it goes down so I know there's one in it I just can't believe there's no literature or anyone else ever having trouble with itI'm kidding I doubt its on the bottom.
