How much sense would that make to put it in her bottom we're it's not accessible? What if it starts leaking or something? Im tempted buy a wire tracer and clip it to the fuel gauge wire and see if I can locate it that way all the wires go all the way to the rear towards the dog house and disappear underneath the floor, is there an additive that is available that could possibly free it up? I have a Moeller universal sending unit from 4 to 28 inches or something like that already

Did you purchase the boat new? Maybe the tank was replaced and never had one installed? I'm not sure just spit balling now.

No I didn't purchase it new the gauge works just won't go past 3/4 full it goes down so I know there's one in it I just can't believe there's no literature or anyone else ever having trouble with it

Oh I must have missed that part. That is probably your gauge not the sender.

Something tells me you're cutting the floor open. You can get a general idea where the opening needs to be by using a tape measure and the opening you have to see the tank.

Other option I can think of is that they do sell, very cheaply I might add, inspection cameras that hook up to cell phones/tablets. You might invest in one of those to see if you can figure out where it might be.
