Thank.you. I will tryIf this was my boat.... I would replace the anode bolt that's clearly missing first. After that bolt is installed and torqued correctly, I would float it and see if the leak stops. If you don't believe that the anode bolt goes through the hull here's a pic of one: Use a flashlight shining from inside the boat through that hole, guarantee you will see light looking in through the hole Chris showed you View attachment 361819
Thank Baretta, Is it easy to install this anode? Can I find video in youtube? or can I find information in manual # 6? What is function of anode? Can I just apply sealancant on it?If this was my boat.... I would replace the anode bolt that's clearly missing first. How long should I wait for boat water testing after bellow repairing with the applying of adhesive ?
or Where can I buy it?
Can I apply sealecant on it?Is just a bolt. How much U-Tube do you need?
Right now you have a hole where the bolt goes through. Difficult part is access to putting a nut on the inside at the bottom of the bilge.
I used 3M 4200 on the outside half of the hole. There is also a rubber gasket goes on the bolt. Can I apply sealecant on it?
Yes. I have applied marine sealacant on it, also reseal bellows with adhesive this morning. Can I go and test in the water tomorrow after noon?I used 3M 4200 on the outside half of the hole. There is also a rubber gasket goes on the bolt.
Can that bolt even be accessed with the engine in? I'm thinking it's on the transom plate beneath the y pipe? And also supports the transom plate...Don't just silicone the hole, it will just leak again. Do the job correctly, use some silicone on the bolt, but a bolt must be put in.
If you did the job on the bellows correctly you do not need to wait any time. You could put the boat in the water immediately. But I would suggest you put that new anode and bolt in before you put the boat in the water again.
Chris....
It can, with difficulty. No Y-pipe, is 2.5L 4 banger. Can that bolt even be accessed with the engine in? I'm thinking it's on the transom plate beneath the y pipe? And also supports the transom plate...
Hi Achris, I did not have too much time to make the bellow to bite the edge of transom because they get stuck immediate after I applied adhesive at both side. That is why I did not put silicone last time., so it was leaking. Also it is very difficult to take bellow off if I think that the seal is not good and I want to do the seal job again. Do you have a good solution to take it off , or just cut it and buy a new set?It can, with difficulty. No Y-pipe, is 2.5L 4 banger.
Oh right. Still seems like a good way to have a leak at the transom seal to leave that bolt out, even if you glob sillycone into the hole.No Y-pipe, is 2.5L 4 banger.

It's not welded on, just pull it off...... Do you have a good solution to take it off , or just cut it and buy a new set?
Move? something big was getting ready to happen. The bolts are loosen and cannot work. and the boat met big wave and moved which caused engine moved and the coupler was wiped.
What does you mean? I have done the fixing job, including pulling engine, replace coupler, rebuild the bellows and replace the shift cable , rebuild the base, ask mechanic to reseal the upper , finally mounting engine back and did the alignment between gimbal bearing and engine, engine and outdrive.Move? something big was getting ready to happen.
