Jt, you have finally said something I agree with! Even Rush admits he's an entertainer and that his views are biased. One thing that I have gained from listening to Rush is how easy it is to spot the BS spewed from someone like Carvelle or Franken.

What's left of it. ;) ;)
That's exactly what "the rest" means, TS.

Ignoring the obvious is a more accurate statement.
Life is to short enough. Still we (the human animal) insist on occupying our time in persuit of ideals dealt by people forming comprehensive sentances. Rally 'round the flag boys. Jump on the band wagon, exhalt the party, but for Gods'- Dont think.

Happy thanksgiving Shawn,

I would swear that I posted something and was responded to by QC. Maybe just too much turkey. Doesn't matter anyway. Been fun just reading threw the posts, very few specifics (I believe my post included specifics) and then of course no resolution.

I don't know about three dimensions yet, but in my book it is definitely a circle. The ends meet, and it really sucks there . . . ;)

Edit: Wow. time warp. I was still reviewing page 1, oops

Re: Can talk radio change you?

Talk radio has made me more critical of what I hear in the so called mainstream media.

I was listening to Sean Hannity earlier tonight and he was interviewing one of Cindy Sheehan's associates, I believe her name was Ann Wright or something phonetically similar. He was trying to discredit her by getting her to say she had voted for John Kerry. Ann kept insisting that who she voted for was irrelavant and she wanted to discuss the war. At one point Sean became enraged at her refusal to answer his question and when she asked why it was important he responded that he wanted to expose her hipocrosy. At that point it seemed like this was going to be more of a attack than an interview and I was thinking about what a vitriolic partisan butt-head Sean is. He accused her of stating that terrorism was the result of our uneven approach to the Israeli Palistinian conflict. She deined ever making the statement but a little later in the interview he presented her with the URL of the website owned by the group who had hired her as a speaker. It had a link to the full text of her speech.

I've left out a lot of detail. The show was one of the ugliest attacks I've ever heard on radio, and my opinion of Sean has hit a new low, but from now on I'll be a more skeptical of what Ms. Wright says.

Re: Can talk radio change you?

FYI,

We had a really windy night a couple of nights ago and at three am, a tool box had fallen off a shelf in the garage. I swear I thought the roof had caved in. But all is well, nobody hurt and no damage. Funny thing is it took me about 25 minutes to figure what had happened. Duh!!

Thanks for the update Pointer94. I saw your earlier post about that and was wondering what had happened. Glad to see no one was hurt.
