Buy now or wait until Black Friday?

I got a little windfall cash today and started to order couple of electronic items that I've been wanting. Then I remembered that Black Friday is 3 weeks from today. Made me wonder if I should just wait awhile.

What do y'all think?

Many places have guaranteed prices that if a lower price is announced they will refund you the difference.

With all the shortages of stuff, and many places offering black friday deals now, I would not wait. If you see what you want now, especially if on sale, I would most likely buy now and monitor prices for a few weeks.

Yep ^^^ and black Friday is notorious for having limited stock of some of the most sought out stuff....

There are places online that already list the ads of who/what's being offered & at what price on Black Friday.

I went ahead and ordered the DeWALT shop vac. I'll hold off on the other stuff until I can find out if I can get my neighbor buddy to mount it or if I'll have to get it done by a pro.

I shop around all the time for stuff I need/want/desire

some of the best deals are not on flack friday

I buy work socks once per year from the big blue mart on a black Friday deal. They never sell out so I go sometime that week and don't get stuck in a crazy store. The only black Friday deal I have ever gotten

I bought a snowblower on “Black Friday” a few years ago. I was first in line at Home Depot at 5am. It was nice chatting with other shoppers while we waited.
The doors opened at 6am. I saved $200 on the snowblower. I think those days are long gone.

I've never actually done the Black Friday thing. I did do something similar back in the '70s when a new auto parts place opened up. I got a great deal on some wheels back then.

My neighbor went to Walmart last year on Black Friday and got a 65" TV for $100. Good deal, that!

Over 90% of what we buy nowadays (other than groceries) is purchased online. And in this case, I went ahead and ordered the DeWALT car vac a few days ago plus a couple of dash cams this afternoon.
