Burned through a small part of the red gel coat, about 3 inches by 1/4 inch on a curved area of the boat. I see like black fiberglass under it. How do I fix it? Do I paint over it? I saw somewhere you can buy an disposable aerosol sprayer and spray gel coat? Any help would be appreciated.

Matching the color is the difficult part, you can try and match it yourself, or contact a place like Spectrum Color and see if they have it already matched. Or cover it with a sticker or a new stripe.

Make sure that you just did not burn it.
Take some heavy compound and rub it by hand
see if any comes out

Thats what I would do first
