Re: Building a swim platform

This is off topic and I apologize, but I am a little concerned. Are the rams in your tilt cylinders taped? The paint/ primer on the rams could cause them to leak at the packing. You may want to buff them off before you move the rams. It is very important that the rams stay as pristine as possible to prevent leaking down the road.

I was going to say that..but the pics seemed out of order ( primer before removal of tape ect ) but I elected not to say anything..

some things seem again out of place.. cant help a curve ball :) . But ive been wrong :) .

Re: Building a swim platform

The rams never leaked, it was a photo from 2 years ago after a coating of anti-fouling, I appriciate the concern but it was mearly overspray and the seals wiped them clean.

YD- what "putty" are you refering to? If your talking about the old transducer holes it is already sanded flat in the photo.

I think I am signing off on this project at this point.
