Boxer v. Rice

Barbera Boxer (D-CA) confronted C. Rice (Sec. Defense) on the Senate floor today.

I had a chance to listen to part of it.

1. Barbera Boxer is a liar. (she states she didn't vote for things she did & vice versa). Follow the $$$.

2. Boxer is a hypocrite. (see #1)

3. Boxer is an idiot. (She is completely clueless as to the REAL world). Listen to her statements!

Ms. Boxer is having a very difficult time dealing with a woman that actually has a mind of her own with intellegence to boot. And, lots of it.

C. Rice is no patsie. B. Boxer can't stand that.

To state an opinion this would be enough.
In order to state these things as facts, you had better come up with some proof.
In my opinion you like Condolisa a lot and you cannot stand her being attacked.
So far neither of us has even touched on the facts that were the cause of this thread.

NO, you come up with some proof to dispute the facts. We're tired of being on the defensive. You can accuse us of everything from child molestation to nuclear crimes, yet your party has not ONE SHRED of proof of anything. Maybe because, it ain't true. We're willing to defend a negative, which some say is not possible. I say-BS.

We're tired of defending. We're on the offensive. Get used to it. THE TIDE HAS TURNED. You have the upper hand, eg: media.

The Dem's will hold on to power regardless of national securitry and their OWN personal safety.

You're getting what you paid for.

The truth hurts. We need to take a hold of Social Security and real defense issues. We should not bicker about who has more power than who.

On the SS issue. It's BROKEN. I can't believe Dem's are saying it isn't. READ THE NUMBERS!

On defense. We close the borders-NOW! And I mean CLOSE. Let's figure out who is here and figure out later, who is here legally.

You may be right, but I doubt it.

However, what is "politically" expediant is not always in the best interest of the public. Unless you are socialist. Then, it's a free for all. Only the big guns win and we as the general public don't have the big gun.

Dr. Rice is a credible candidate to be our next President.

Hahaha! That would frost the Libs, wouldn't it? The first female, first African descent POTUS (President Of The United States). . . A Republican? Hahahaha!! :D

Haven't seen the video. I'll watch for it on the News Hour, along with a balanced commentary.

Jb, my best friend's wife is a dyed in the wool liberal democrat, women's libber, tree hugger and anti-war protestor. Her & I had several loud discussions last fall. It was like talking to a tree. I can only hope that Dr. Rice runs and wins. I think Zena's head would explode from the confusion it would cause in her mind. :D

Dr Rice calmly, convincingly, and politely cleaned that clock!
As for the "clock's" bloviating, it had nothing at all to do with Rice, just wanted to re-establish her seathing hatered for GW Bush.
There is not a "clock" in that room that can intelectually hold the good Doctor's water!
Dog-n-pony show. I predict the pony will emmerge as pretty as when she went in, and the dogs will be licking thier wounds.

Whenever I see Boxer, (she doesn't desrerve a title in my and many other's book), I vision her as a rat looking out of a hole in the ground.

She is the product of the Demorat party's socialist infiltration of Calipornia, to force their propaganda on millions of human sheep.

Boxer is a "Carpetbagger" originally from New Jersey in the 60's, hand selected by "Their Party" to help increase the socialization of Calipornia.

Ms. Rice is a highly educated lady and it shows.

Boxer has the IQ of a "spun prop" and it shows.

Lovingly submitted, ...Bob in Calif...

Now this is sure a thoughtful, analytical discussion, full of profound insights.

Simply because Rice has repeatedly contradicted her own statements on the record is no reason to impune her credibility, for heaven sakes!

And thanks for adding your thoughtful profound insight.Albeit from your usual anti current administrative and somewhat patronizing point of view.

DJ, this household and our home county did all we could to get her out of office. We only gave her 36% of our vote. Her Republican opponent got 59% of our vote. Almost exactly opposite the statewide vote.
Just to show you some here in California are truely on the front lines.
http://vote2004.ss.ca.gov/Returns/ussen/52.htm

Her largest corporate contributors are lawyers and lobbyists.

Wouldn't a Rice/Powell ticket be a blast!
Talk about an election that would disrupt the statis quo......hmmmm.

Nevermind the fact that he is dead on! Condi has contradicted herself many times, on many important issues. Boxer called her out on it, and Condi didn't have much to say except "please stop impugning my integrity". Well, when you say contradicting things about important issues, your integrity pretty much goes out the window.

Someone mentioned Hillary..I personally think it doesn't matter WHO ran against her, (if she were to run at all), her presence in the arena at all would guarantee the opponents victory.

Be nice FB We already had 8 years of BC running wild, to have him as Mr Bill as a un elected running wild with no checks and balances would be pushing it to the limit! :D
