Bow light wiring dropped into the hull...

We took bow light out for replacement, didn't get around to installing the new one for a few days and the wires dropped into what looks to be an irretrievable area behind the built in cooler (1999 Stingray 190RS Bowrider). Does anyone make a battery powered bow light that will take the place (and spot) of the original screw mounted light? Am I screwed and have to find a way to run new wires? TIA!

Can you see the wire with a pen light? If you can still see the wire, make a hook on the end of a piece of stiff wire and fish it back out.

Some inside out duct tape wrapped around Silvertip's hook may also assist snagging the wire even if you can't see it. It's down there waiting for you.

^^^ That's what I was thinking too.

If you can't see it, duct tape a piece of 3/8 or 1/2" hose to a shop vac, then probe around to vac the wire out.

They do make battery operated bow lights, they run a couple of D cell batteries. I would opt for the proper repair though.....
