Bought my first boat to cut, gut and rebuild from bow to stern, including engine. Killed my back and suffered the wrath of the fiberglass demons

If you want to extend your working time, store the resin (and MEKP) in a cool place. The heat of the tent will get it to kick, but in doing so, you will have more working time. If the resin starts warm, it will kick fairly quickly. (and make a mess)

Gallon of resin is $65. A walmart or facetube market place fridge is $70

So..... To keep many gallons from going bad, an extra fridge sounds cheap..... Plus it stores cans of liquid boat repair juice from Hinterland, New Glarus, or Leinies

Looks like I'm safe from the heat we just had! Does resin evaporate? I don't remember using that much already lol. It's in the basement now.

A little filleting with pb mixed with csm.... some tabbing with csm.... and a layer of 1708. Such a mess. Gonna have to grind some more when I can.

I put a layer of csm over the outside of that Crack from the little platform at the rear of the boat. Csm looks practically invisible when saturated in resin. I know 1708 is thicker and woven on the one side...but is it normal for some areas to be more transparent than other areas? I coated all of it evenly with resin.
