pic worked, i would have used a 4x4 or 6x6 for that joint, make it much better to install a bow eye.

This is my first project -12' skiff with titebond III and galvanized screws.
I plan on glassing at least the bottom. After reading the forum a long time
finally decided just to try something simple and see what happens. Can anyone suggest a good boat for my next project?
