I traded a playstation 3 for a 1978 ranger bass boat that didn't run. Fixed it and sold it for $1000. Bought an 87 bayliner capri 1600 for $1100. Used it for a year than sold it for $1300. Took that money and bought the baja islander with a blown motor Im working on now. So, my boats name is Playstation. Works on 2 levels.

Hey yah .. new to iBoats !! ... 1st post actually ... I just picked up an 05 Stratos 486 SF in next to new condition ... Her new name is "StratosFear " LOL ... corny I know !

There's a boat local to me named 'AFTICA', I spoke to the owner and asked him about it. His reply was Another Fu**ing Thing I Can't Afford.
Another boat is called 'Plan B' apparently plan A was to leave it all for the kids.

i had a 1978 33 foot silverton cabin cruiser named "Nothing But Trouble" my dad had a boat when i was a kid that was bright green and had 2 huge fog lights up front called it "Kermit" had a 96 sea pro with purple bottom paint "Purple Haze" dingy for 33 silverton "Little trouble" and my current restoration project is a red 72 chrysler sport satellite 15 footer "Big Red"

This is for all the construction types out there.

I once saw a yacht with a dinghy. Both yacht and dinghy were named. The dinghy was named "Original Contract". The yacht was named "Change Order"

Recently rebuilt a 1969 Sport-Craft (19-foot) and named her "BUD'S GIRL". It's the same year model as my wife. She grew up working on her late father's shrimp boats and oyster barges. So I named and gifted the finished project to her as a little runabout. I grew up working on my family's ranch so knew nothing about boats and the expense of restoration, but the boat has a lot of personal meaning to her due to it's name. Port of Brazoria County, Texas.

mines called "IDUNNO" my friend asked what I was going to call it I said idunno he said thats a good name.. i did hear of one called "Emma Chizit" because when it was for sale people kept asking how much is it.

I had a 1978 Bayliner 28 footer the leak enough that the bilge would cycle daily. Since it was our first boat I wanted to really give it a name that would be unique to that boat alone. So....... I wanted to name the boat "Old Leaky" but my wife wouldn't let me. She also turned down, "Flonder", "Voyage to the bottom of the sea", "Crash Dive", and "Below all decks"! So after feeling down in the dumps about boat names, I thought hard for a few days, and named the boat "Sinking Feeling" Strange, but she really never liked that boat........
