I need everybody to think of a good boat name (lots of 'em)

Seriously? Would you let someone name your dog or child for you?

Just remember, it's like a tattoo. It won't change even though you will. So something racy and tacky that a 26 year old single guy might say (wet dream, chick magnet, etc.) will make you look like an idiot at 40 and embarass your teenage daughters (and you when you explain it).

Tell us about you and your family, jobs hobbies etc, I'm sure we can help you out, this is one of those threads that comes up all the time but I really enjoy everyone's creativity, the thing is its your boat so the name should make a statement about you and your family in my opinion....

You gotta name your own boat.

Think about the boat and what it means to you, for example

I had a small sailboat once that I named "Light & Variable" like the wind and like the boat.
I had a 12' Aluminum boat I named Bar B Q because the guy I bought it from stored the sauce in the boat and 1 jug had broken open and found it's way into every rivet.
I have a small fishing boat I call "Fishwish" for obvious reasons.
And finally I am working on what I call "Number 5" because for some reason it has a big plastic number "5" glued to the starboard side.

You gotta name your own boat - or have your wife or kid do it.

I just bought a 1989 Sea Ray 268 Sundancer. Her name is Tiltin' Hilton but going to go through the ritual of renaming her. Just not sure what yet. My parents had a 16ft bow rider called Empty Pockets.

I nearly bought a square-stern canoe with a 4hp Tohatsu. If I had gotten it, I would have named it either Swamp Scooter or Millennium Flounder.
