Re: Boat Names

Just got my 94 Sea Ray a few weeks ago. I was in the market for a newer boat, went to a dealer and was going to put a down payment on an 01 4 Winns 220 Horizon. I was checking out CL and found the Sea Ray. It was same size, same engine, not as nice or new but great for a fst boat. Had it checked out and sure enough, it was in good shape. What I was going to put as a down payment on a n $18,000 boat ended up paying for my Sea Ray. Thus, she was named "Down Payment."

Re: Boat Names

Since my wife is tall and lean, I called her "Stick" since the day I met her. When I bought our boat, my wife said that if I wasn't around her, I could be found out on the boat. She followed it up with "I guess it's not bad if this is my only competition".

Hence....'Stick's Competition'

My old 28' Pontoon, appropriately named 'Water Hazard' because of my other hobby, golf, and my driving skills on the water. See the before and after. I miss that boat.

I'm calling my restoration "Numpty Tub"!

Definition of Numpty .....
Scottish usage:
NUMPTY

(num-p-tee) Dialect, chiefly Scot ~n. 1. a bumbling fool; one who is intellectually challenged (“no’ the fu’shillin’”)

"YOUR MOM" its funny when I call my buddies and ask if they wanna take your mom out for a ride on the lake, not so funny when we all get there and they ask to go out again....

The wife and I have 10 dogs, all rescues. Needless to say we are suckers for a dog with a sad story. We decided to name our boat Knoty Dogs

Re: Boat Names

Hi all, I'm new to the site and to boating, and figured I would start off my posting here. I am in the process of readying my 1987 Glasstream Free Spirit and I am trying to decide on a fitting name.
I own a small auto shop that specializes in Subaru's. The shop is aptly named All Wheels Driven.
The names that I have chosen for the boat are:
-UR-A-BUS. (Subaru spelled backwards).
-A.W.D. and in small letters underneath Always Wet Dreamin'
-At Work (because Im always there)
-The Shop (My response to my girlfriend when asked where I'm at)
-or, my favorite RallyWet

What do you all think?
