I purchased a new 2013 Scout 210 XSF in 2013, and after one season discovered widespread blistering on the transom, and the length of the hull underside.
Very disturbing. I keep the boat at my dock in fresh water, like many boats before it, and this is the first time I've ever seen this.
Their warranty excludes blistering (I could not find any others that exclude that), but if I get it back to their factory in SC they say they will fix it.
Has anyone else seen blistering on Scouts? Has anyone else seen long-term success when "fixing" blistering? Everyone I speak to says it never works, for long.
