I don’t use mine a lot because my boat is moored in the salt water but where I am a bunk trailer definitely would not work. Shallow ramps and 6 foot tidal swings. It took me a while but I finally got my roller trailer the way I want it. I was able to lower the boat about 3” to about 1.5” above the fenders. That and the long tongue allows me to keep my rear tires out of the salt water. When we launch my brothers boat (same size) on the bunk trailer even on the steeper town ramp he has to get his rear tires in the water.
