Sig what is the throttle remote? I Dropped the boat off at the dealership. The mechanic acted like it was a loose ignition wiring harness. He said it was a common problem on these boats. It is still at the dealership I'll let you know what I find out when I hear something.

basically it's the throttle on your right, i only refer to it that way as that is how it is described in the tahoe manual. anyway, there were tow wires coming from behind it under the gunnel, yellow/red i think that go to the instruments and ingition itself. both of these wires had an inline torpedo connector that werent pushed together all the way, i pushed them back in for good contact, they should snap, and all was well. as far as the mechanic goes, i was fortunate enough to find a really good one and identified my problem. i have to agree that rechecking every wire and fuse was important as some were loose. fortunatley i did all that and my mechanic found it to be the starter fuse. what about the kill switch. this is strange because it sounds like an identical issue as mine. did you put a new starter fuse in?

Thanks Sig. No I didn't change the fuse I tested it with a voltmeter and it was OK. I gave up due to lack of time and freezing weather getting closer. I took it to a local dealer he seemed to know exactly what it was as I was describing my problem. Something about the ignition wiring harness not being fully seated when assemble. He said it was a common problem but with that said its still there and I am waiting on the diagnosis.

I'm searching the net looking for others who have had this issue with the loose wiring but as of yet haven't found any others. He made it seem like a common problem with '08 and newer models. This from a tracker dealer/service tech.
