Anyone replace their AQ water neck fitting to a plastic one?

I came across a plastic water neck fitting for the later DP-E DP-G’s. Would these work on the earlier 290, SP, and DP’s?
the regular one is made of some sort of alloy that only lasts a few years even in fresh water. Would be a nice upgrade

The plastic ones last a bit longer, however crack.

I will find out the answer to the question shortly. have a buddy that just came back from Bulgaria and I had him bring me back some from the dealer there. (the same one you are posting pics from).

need to wait until he gets the CV19 all clear

Great! Hoping the bolt pattern is the same. Should be since it’s from the same generation just later style 290’s. The only other difference I see is the outlets seems to be more oval shaped. Whereas the original alloy ones are round. But as long as the diameter is similar a hose clamp should take care of that

possibly, remember the drive when thru a big mid-section design change with the DPC.

coming back around to this. bolt pattern is the same. Havent bolted it up yet, however
