The original pumps are Carter / Airtex. Cheap enough to avoid chinese knockoffs

I dont know about US but where I'm located the aftermarket pump costs usually 50...60 whereas oem is north of 200. And the LP pump you can't get oem at all.

I think the OE here in Newfoundland ,Canada is well over $1000.00 bucks, plus 15% taxes. So it a sweet price were your located,

guys, carter and airtex can be bought on-line or at NAPA or any good automotive store. no need to buy them direct from Mercruiser who marks up the price 400%

it should be stamped on your pumps. pull the pump, get the number.

HP should be P61171 (you will have to verify)
LP could be P61122 (you will have to verify)

It's the same deal with the old style mechanical pumps, you can get the same exact Carter pump from places like Jeg's or Summit Racing for less than half what Merc, Volvo or OMC charged. All you need is the number off the old pump.

I was writing about separate hp and lp pumps and not the whole fuel cell.

Thanks guys for all the input, I just confirmed today that my high pressure pump is only putting out 20 psi, so new pumps for me. And thank you Scott for all your infomation, I will try your part numbers with NAPA here in Newfoundland and let you guys how much.
Again guys thanks to all, I will update once I get the new pumps and let know what price is, and once my work is complete.

Priced a new volvo fuel pump kit today here in Newfoundland, Canada cost was
$ 2089.00 CAN , sad,sad price. And was told they are on back order.
I'm guessing after market ones are going back.
