Cheap carburetor kits are just that---cheap---Not worth saving a few beer tokens in the long run !

I've used them before and regretted it. Some of the gaskets aren't even compatible with gasoline. They swell and get distorted. I've heard of the jets that come with them having the right numbers with the wrong size holes. I'd steer clear of them.

Sierra, GLM and others make quality aftermarket carb kits. These are available from many places on the web

I was forced to buy chinese kits for my Honda CB 500 Four as Kehin and Honda both stopped making kits . The brass bits are junk. 2 gaskets and the needle valves are all that I could use.

Buying boats is one of the quickest ways that well to do folks can distribute money to poor folks.
I sure have enjoyed messing with the outboard. I'm only into this boat for the labor of hanging 4 Interior doors. Pervious owner put quite a bit into the boat. Spark is definitely not the issue. He slapped on all new CDI ignition systems. New carpet and seats. He went super cheap on his carb gaskets though.
