Adding a ladder? How do you get in your classic boat?

Has anyone added a ladder to their resto project? How hard is it to get back in these fiberglassics when you're out for a swim in the middle of the lake? How about a rope ladder lol....? Someone has to have some creative ideas.

I was thinking of adding some wood under the cap on each side for extra support. (seal it and glass it in) And then maybe keep one of these stowed onboard that can be pulled out when needed.

That's what we use on the boat below. Stores under the rear seat real easy. I also have a small rope that has a D ring that gets attached to the boat so we don't loose the ladder. I've pulled anchor and ran several times w/o pulling the ladder, but I haven't lost it yet.

Ayuh,.... I just crawl up the outdrive, 'n over the transom...
