A Little help please keep blowing 20 amp ignition fuse

Removed lower unit and replaced now I'm blowing a 20amp fuse. It has the hydraulic electric shift motor is 115 Johnson v4 please help I heard u guys where good people and helpful

Stick a bolt in the fuse holder, wont blow that. But seriously... Did ya pinch a wire ?

Lol yes would work.........I did think of pinch wire I tore lower unit apart again and checked but I didn't see any pinched wires. I reassembled careful and did same thing I'm baffled could I have ruined seleniods?

There is no way you would have ruined the solenoids unless you took the cover off them. Did you? Anyway, the way to find out is use a multimeter to do a resistance check on the blue and green wires. Testing is so much easier than guessing.

Well the plastic cap between the coward and reverse seleniod was loose in between there does that matter I didn't touch and what about the wavy washer that goes on top of the two does this need to be positioned right?
