Re: 88 Bayliner Project

No No - Our friend was loading HIS Bayliner on his trailer. Hooked the safety chain and winch strap and got in his truck to pull it out of water. He realized that he forgot to raise the trim so he shut of the truck and got back in the boat. Started to raise the trim and it moved the truck forward, parking brake was not set, and the truck came out of gear. Back down the ramp went the boat and trailer and the truck. The truck sunk and the boat held up the back end of the truck and the trailer. After approval from law enforcement we used our bayliner to go out to where the truck ended up. Hooked on to the trailer and towed everything around and back closer to shore. They put the trailer back under the boat, hooked tow straps to the trailer and then pulled the whole thing out with another pickup. Hope that makes it a little clearer!

Great job saving my favorite brand. Sorry about your buddies truck. I actually love anything that looks like a boat. I am planning to do the interior of mine this winter. May have to ask for tips.

Glad to answer any questions that we can! Yes Bayliner is an amazing boat when you get them redone. I really like the sleek look. Replaced all the vinyl so have some ideas.
