Boat salvage yard, maybe.

Its not something you can buy off the shelf, probablybnever was, but esp not now 35yrs later.

Its a DIY project, from figuring layout, templating, fabrication and install

Start by googling boat galleys and looking at pictures

however, you have to ask yourself, is the galley your biggest problem? the boat was stripped for a reason. most likely because there were other issues and the boat was going to be restored, or the boat was going to be salvaged and junked.

a 37 year old boat is going to need a full restoration, including transom, stringers, and probably a keel long before you get to interior, upholstery, etc.

Instead of trying to rebuild what Bayliner did, I would take this as a time to revamp the galley layout. I believe that boat would have had a port side galley, maybe 5-6' long? If so, and that feels like the best place to put it back, I would start there. I would most likely not install a galley stove, as they rarely get used. Me personally, would redo it with veneered teak or mahogany, and solid teak or mahogany trim/style and rail doors. I tend to like to keep those types of woods in boats, verse cheaper stuff.

This won't be a super easy task, unless you're a wood worker. It is doable, but will require you to design, template and execute.

Look for similar boats for sale that have a galley and check the pics out they typically post with them. I am updating my galley and dinette in my 22 foot and it helps to have pictures. Fortunately, I have all the "furniture" for the boat so just need to decide whether to "refinish" or "replace" using the old for a pattern and if I want to modify the original. For example, my "passenger seat" on the port side sits way lower than the helm seat since it faces the dinette table and serves also as a drop down bed. This makes it difficult for conversations (eye level) with the passenger and boat driver during cruise trips. Trying to figure out how to upgrade the seating for dual purpose on the passenger side. Things to consider when you work on your cabin design as it could also affect your bulkhead designs under the floor if you are replacing stringers and such. You might need added support for bolting things down.

Hey Rechie.....by gutted, do you mean all the subsystems are removed too?. The Cierra 2550 has a galley port side like mentioned before, which runs to the v berth, there is a convertible dinette starboard across from the galley, and what looks like a latrine which is most likely a shower utilizing the whole bath space. below the deck you will have/need multiple holding tanks( both potable and grey water), a shower sump, shutoffs, strainers, and such. There may also be a mascerator system for discharging waste offshore, plus a waste tank for pumpout, or a porto potti with a built in tank on the toilet. The cabinetry is the easy part, the subsystems can get tricky and expensive if missing too.

Been trying to find "good" pic I've looked everywhere trying to find plans so it will be a slow process of measurement and templates trial and error thanks for the advice and appreciate any info as I average 70-80 hrs a week at work so more fall and winter project when work slows down

I found some decent photos on a web search, but of course measurements would have to be eyeballed. As much as I try not to steer people away, there is a decent Bayliner Forum at the Bayliner Owners Club. I imagine someone with a 2550 could measure it up for you.
