I think that the ally conducts heat away so fast that it can soak up a far bit of heat ,and I think you gain more by heating moderately and cooling a few times than you do by over heating it onceI use map gas and go forever....sometimes the original OMC paint doesn't even show much harm amazing stuff.
Acetylene, map gas I've used them all. Map gas or an induction here is all you need that in a few crayons.
Yeah colored crayons discolor the paint for sure, I just use light or dark depending on the motor so white on white and the darker on the darker.I think that the ally conducts heat away so fast that it can soak up a far bit of heat ,and I think you gain more by heating moderately and cooling a few times than you do by over heating it once
I looked at using crayons but I could never find ones the right colour.
No, it will not work. That inductive gizmo sure seems cool to me. 2 hundred bucks though is kind of pricey. With my luck it wouldn't work either. Something else that seldom works for me is PB Blaster. I applied it 3x, tapping the bolts in between, and let it sit overnight. Nothing. I might as well have peed on the bolts. Why do people love this crap? It never seems to work.
Anybody want to weigh in on how stupid it would be to just bolt it together with 9 bolts? The part seems very strong to me. I honestly don't think it would make any difference, but what do I know.
